About Me

Biography

Xiaoxia Liu received the B.Sc. degree in information and computational science from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, in 2012, and received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, USA, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. She is currently an associate professor at South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. Before she join SCUT, she was a research assistant professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2021 to 2025. Her current research interests include image and video processing, optimization, and inverse problems.
